Kloeckner Metals UK has been certified as a Great Place to Work, which the company said was a testament to its continued commitment to creating an outstanding workplace culture. The certification is awarded to organisations that provide excellent employee experiences and showcase exemplary people practices.

Trebor Developments and Hillwood have acquired eight acres of commercial development land from Ipswich Borough Council at Eastern Gateway. They have planning consent for a five-unit speculative industrial and logistics scheme, with buildings ranging in size from 1,198m2 to 4,854m2.

RED Construction Group has been appointed to deliver the £31M redevelopment of 55 Pall Mall in central London. The development will see the construction of a new building, behind a retained façade, comprising of basement, ground, and seven storeys, with terraces at fifth, sixth and seventh-floor levels.

UBS Asset Management and Reef Group are planning to develop land in Stevenage to create one of Europe’s largest clusters for life science companies, consisting of 130,000m2 of laboratory and office facilities, providing space for up 5,000 new skilled jobs.

Willmott Dixon has been selected to complete the design proposals for a new secure children’s home to be built on the edge of Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Plans for the 28-bed secure facility, which will be located on the outskirts of the town, have been approved by members of Lincolnshire County Council’s planning and regulation committee.
