New Grangemouth HQ for chemicals giant
INEOS Olefins & Polymers UK is building a new, state of the art steel-framed headquarters building at its Grangemouth site in central Scotland.
The new £20M building is just one element of the company’s long-term investment into the site. The business HQ has been designed by one of Scotland’s leading architectural practices, Michael Laird Architects.
The design of the 6,500m² building includes a number of long-span column free areas up to 18m in length, which will provide modern flexible office space.
INEOS Olefins & Polymers (O&P UK) CEO at Grangemouth John McNally said: “The site is undergoing a radical transformation with significant investment that will herald a new era in petrochemical manufacturing at Grangemouth.
“This is another part of our £450M survival plan being implemented. It shows our ongoing commitment to creating a world class manufacturing site at Grangemouth.”
Working on behalf of main contractor BAM, BHC is fabricating, supplying and erecting the project’s steelwork.
