Stockholder installs new plasma cutting machine

Parker Steel has purchased and installed one of the latest Gemini 25 plasma cutting and machining systems from FICEP.

The Gemini 25 is a compact footprint automatic CNC machine that is said to require up to 30% less floorspace than other systems and can produce flat metal parts from plate, 6mm up to 80mm thick with cutting lengths from 5m to 30m in one set-up.

This machine is unbelievably fast in both drilling holes up to 32mm diameter and milling the larger holes and slotted holes equally as fast; add the ability to plasma cut up to 40mm thick and it really is the machine we have been waiting for. The Gemini enables us to pass these savings on to our customers thereby lowering their fabrication costs.”
