Steelwork rises on Broadgate redevelopment
Work is progressing on the 100 Liverpool Street project which forms part of the wider Broadgate redevelopment scheme in the City of London.
The project will reinvigorate the existing outdated building, stripping it back to its structural steel frame and providing it with more steel-framed floors, a curving façade and revamped public realm.
The building will feature an array of sustainable features that complement the significantly reduced carbon footprint associated with the reuse of the structural frame; it is expected to receive a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
Working on behalf of main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine, William Hare is fabricating, supplying and erecting the steelwork.
