Maple Grove Blackburn – a joint venture between Maple Grove Developments and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council – has submitted a planning application for a Skills & Cyber Campus. It has been earmarked for a former market site in Brown Street and is part of the £250M Blackburn Town Centre Masterplan.

Glencar has been appointed by Logicor to construct a 30,658m2 highly sustainable BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ warehouse at Little Hulton, in Bolton. The project will see the redevelopment of a 20-acre site and the construction of a 28,000m2 warehouse with a three-storey office.

Morgan Sindall Construction has been awarded the £32M contract to construct a new Household Waste Recycling Centre and Waste Transfer Station in Walsall. The new Middlemore Lane centre will feature a maximum throughput capacity of 40,000 tonnes per annum across 19 bays. In addition, there will also be weighbridges, service yards, offices and welfare facilities for staff.

Bouygues UK has been appointed to build Stanmore College, a further education facility in Harrow, north London. It will be funded by the Department for Education’s Further Education Improvement Programme and the work includes reconfiguring the site by replacing four buildings with four new builds.

Manchester City Council has chosen Muse as its partner to deliver transformational investment in Wythenshawe town centre. The wide-ranging regeneration scheme includes a new public square, shops, net zero carbon commercial space, community and cultural space, and more than 1,750 new homes.
