Galvanizer primed for the future after major investment

Posted on by in News

Hampshire-based Wessex Galvanizers, part of Wedge Group Galvanizing, has made a number of improvements to its new processing line.

The company has installed a new degrease tank, alongside new acid tanks and a water rinse system, as well as an additional crane and a large extension to its building.

Richard Whiddett, Sales Manager at Wessex Galvanizers, said: “This investment has been extremely exciting for the plant, and will hugely increase our productivity to meet ever-evolving customer needs.

“We’re incredibly grateful to all our customers for their patience while the renovation has taken place. The brand-new components will enhance our entire galvanizing process and also speed up production to allow us to work even smarter, more efficiently, and more sustainably.”

Chris Woolridge, Managing Director of Wedge Group Galvanizing, added: “This is excellent news for Wessex Galvanizers and we’re pleased to see the plant back up and running as usual. It’s also a significant investment for Wedge Group as a whole, as we’re continuing to offer the very best service, using the very highest quality of tools and equipment, and a highly skilled and experienced team.”
