Funding in place for Filton industrial park

Posted on by in Weekly News

Tungsten Properties has secured £19 million of funding to deliver Tungsten Park Filton, a new 8,751m2 Grade A industrial development in Bristol.

The scheme will comprise five units ranging from 947m2 to 2,787m2, to help address the shortage of mid-box industrial accommodation within the Bristol market.

The development, being delivered by main contractor Magrock Construction, will provide high-quality warehouse accommodation with first-floor offices, generous yard depths and strong power provision, and benefit from a prominent position fronting the A38, close to Junction 16 of the M5 and Junction 20 of the M4.

The scheme will target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A ratings and will incorporate numerous features including rooftop photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, sustainable drainage features and extensive landscaping.

Ian Dunckley, Development Director at Tungsten Properties, said: “Securing funding represents a significant milestone and demonstrates continued confidence in both the Bristol market and the wider mid-box sector. Bristol remains a highly supply-constrained market, and the scheme will help address this shortage by delivering exceptional accommodation”

Construction work is scheduled to commence this month, with practical completion targeted for April 2027.
