DfE makes appointment for Tameside school 

Tilbury Douglas has been appointed by the Department for Education (DfE) to lead the construction of Russell Scott Primary School in Denton, Tameside.  

The scheme involves the construction of a new two-storey school building adjacent to the existing premises (which will be demolished as part of a second phase of work), along with associated external works and landscaping. 

Designed by architects Ellis Williams, the school will have space for more than 470 pupils and will include a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) area on the ground floor.
