Steelwork contractor employee recognised following two life-saving events 

Kiernan Steel has made a special presentation to Health and Safety Advisor Anthony Keegan, whose quick responses over a three-week period helped save the lives of two individuals. 

Faced with life-or-death emergencies, and drawing on his first aid training and experience, Mr Keegan administered CPR and played a critical role in helping two men survive. 

One of the individuals subsequently underwent life-saving cardiac treatment, while the second survived following the emergency response. 

A Spokesperson for Kiernan Steel, said: “While health and safety is Anthony’s profession, what he demonstrated goes far beyond any job description. 

“His quick thinking, courage under pressure, and willingness to step forward in moments of crisis are a testament to his character and the values we strive to uphold every day.”
