SSDA October issue of New Steel Construction out now    

The latest issue of New Steel Construction (NSC), featuring the 54th Structural Steel Design Awards (SSDA) is now available in both digital and print formats.

The recently held 54th SSDA takes centre stage in the current issue of NSC with project reports on all of the winning schemes, as well as news coverage from the event held at Christ Church Spitalfields Venue in east London. 

There were five Award-winning projects: 1 Triton Square, London; Bombardier Maintenance Hangar, Biggin Hill; Esperance Bridge, Kings Cross; Lord’s Cricket Ground, Compton & Edrich Stands Redevelopment; and Tower of Light, Manchester.

Six projects received Commendations: Assembly Bristol, Building A; Britannia Leisure Centre, Hackney; Central Atrium at Hilltop, RHS Wisley; Fire Station Auditorium, Sunderland; One Braham, London; and One Crown Place, London.

Merits were awarded to: Houlton School, Rugby; Hydro Ness, Inverness; LCT 7074 Canopy, The D-Day Story, Portsmouth; and Pace Gallery, Hanover Square, London.
