Project reports in this issue include the Nova Victoria mixed use scheme in London, a new hangar at Lydd Airport, a large potato barn in East Anglia, a leisure centre in Waltham Forest, and the Central Square development in Leeds.

Our cover article in this issue is the Nova Victoria project in London. Phase one of this huge scheme consists of 44,600m² of offices, 7,500m² of retail and restaurant space, and 170 luxury apartments all accommodated within three landmark buildings.

A new hangar is operational at London Ashford Airport in Lydd, Kent. The steel-framed structure is part of the facility’s ongoing expansion plans that will also include a runway extension.

One of London’s largest leisure centres is being constructed by Waltham Forest Council. With a footprint of 5,500m², the centre houses a 25m-long pool with diving facilities, a 15m-long learner pool, a sports hall, an extreme sports hall, as well as kids area and a café.

A large potato store in East Anglia, the Central Square mixed-use development in Leeds and a technical article from the Steel Construction Institute are also featured in this issue.
