Hotel boost for Torquay confirmed with contractor appointment

Willmott Dixon has been appointment by the Fragrance Group to deliver a new £23M full-service hotel in Torquay.

Situated in a popular seafront location on Torbay Road, the four-star Corbyn Head Hotel will have 152 guestrooms, with eight that are wheelchair accessible, as well as a restaurant and terraces that overlook the bay.

There will also be an onsite spa and rooftop bar, parking provision for 101 cars and a coach drop-off area. The project will also deliver improved vehicular and pedestrian access along Torbay Road.

Willmott Dixon is working with Kay Elliott Architects, with the project set to commence this summer and complete in summer 2024.
