Ground broken for Crawley school redevelopment

Main contractor Bouygues UK has broken ground for the redevelopment of Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School in Crawley.

The £64 million project includes the construction of a new three-storey school building to the south of the existing campus.

The building will accommodate an assembly hall, sixth-form social and study spaces, a library resource centre and specialist teaching areas.

The wider scheme includes five Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs), landscaped recreation space and a dedicated school car park. 

Chrissie Millwood, Executive Headteacher, said: “This project will be completely transformational for the school and for the community.

“It’s an opportunity to show that we are worth investing in and worth providing with an environment in which pupils can learn.”
