Contracts signed for Bolton educational building

The Department for Education (DfE) has appointed Galliford Try Building North West to deliver a new building for the Bolton University Collegiate School (UCS).

The project will involve the construction of a £17.6M extension to the existing town centre school. It will include teaching facilities, dining areas, kitchen, sports hall and an activity studio.

Also included in the works are more than 1,000m² of internal light refurbishment, in order to assist the existing school building to change curriculum style, from vocational to academic.
