Additional floors and a retained façade for Knightsbridge development

Three adjacent sites at 30-33 Sloane Street, 2-4 Hans
Crescent and the ground floor of 49 Pavilion Road are being
combined to form a new mixed-use development that sits
sensitively within the Knightsbridge conservation area.
Forming the main part of the scheme, the 1920s-built Portland
stone façade of 30-33 Sloane Street is being retained, while
two additional steel-framed floors have been added to the top,
forming a new six-storey building.
Working on behalf of main contractor Galliford Try, Bourne
Steel has installed 376t of steelwork for the project.
Aiming to achieve a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating, the scheme
will accommodate luxury retail units, offices and a rooftop
restaurant with a terrace offering views across central London.
The project, which is due to complete in 2027, is part of the
wider regeneration of the area being undertaken by Cadogan
Estates.
