Steelwork up for town centre redevelopment

Known as the Leyland Town Deal, a major redevelopment scheme is
progressing in the Lancashire town.
One of the project’s two main phases includes a new civic square and
the refurbishment of the town’s market hall. Overlooking the square
are two steel-framed structures; a commercial building and a mixed-use
structure.
Working on behalf of Eric Wright Construction, Leach Structural
Steelwork has fabricated, supplied and installed the steelwork for this
phase.
Councillor Matthew Tomlinson, Leader of South Ribble Borough
Council, said: “I’m extremely pleased with the progress being
made on the Leyland Town Deal works. This is a truly transformative
project for our town, and it’s something we’re immensely
proud to be delivering for our communities.”
Steve Reid, Pre-Construction Director at Eric Wright
Construction, commented: “We are proud to be working in
partnership with our valued clients, South Ribble Borough Council
and pleased to be delivering such important works that will not only
boost the town centre economically but provide improved community
facilities for years to come.”
