St Modwen to develop distribution centre for footwear specialist

St. Modwen Logistics has signed a deal with its existing customer, Gardiner Brothers & Co, to support the expansion of the UK’s leading distributor of global footwear brands at St. Modwen Park Gloucester.

The footwear specialist has signed a 10-year agreement for a brand-new 10,700m² build-to-suit unit at the 58-acre site which, when complete, could create up to 50 new jobs for the local area.

St. Modwen plans to commence construction on the new unit immediately and it will be ready for occupation in September 2021.

The new, high-quality logistics space will provide Gardiner Brothers & Co with 10 dock level loading doors, two level access loading doors, 93 car parking spaces, and Grade ‘A’ first floor office space.
