SSDA October issue of New Steel Construction out now

The latest issue of New Steel Construction (NSC), featuring the 53rd Structural Steel Design Awards (SSDA) is now available in both digital and print formats that will be arriving in the post this week.

The recently held 53rd SSDA takes centre stage in the current issue of NSC with project reports on all of the winning schemes, as well as news coverage from the event held at Christ Church Spitalfields Venue in east London. 

There were four Award-winning projects: 100 Liverpool Street, London; Hams Way Footbridge; Pooley New Bridge; and Glasgow Queen Street Station.

Seven projects received Commendations: 60 London Wall; 80 Charlotte Street, London; 100 Bishopsgate, London; Brentford Community Stadium; The Catalyst, Newcastle upon Tyne; Leicester City FC Training Ground; and Murdoch’s Connection.

Merits were awarded to: Brundholme and Low Pearson Bridges; Heron Quay Pavilion; The Hickman; and Wenlock Works.

NSC also features an article from SSDA sponsor, Trimble Solutions (UK) Ltd, industry news, a technical article and advisory desk from the Steel Construction Institute, and codes and standards updates.
