July/August issue of New Steel Construction out now

The July/August issue of New Steel Construction (NSC) is now available in both print and digital formats. Readers can access the magazine via the website: www.newsteelconstruction.com.

This month’s cover story features two steel footbridges that have been installed as part of a new walking and cycling path in South Wales. Measuring 57m long and 67m long respectively, the bridges were delivered to site in three sections.

NSC reports from East Anglia with two articles. An extension to Great Yarmouth’s Wellington Pier will add to the facility’s entertainment capacity, while the town’s East Coast College campus is undergoing a major redevelopment.

Further up the North Sea coast, Grimsby town centre is getting a makeover. The Freshney Place shopping centre is being enlarged with a five-screen cinema and a leisure centre.

In Enfield, North London, two large portal-framed warehouses, accommodating five industrial units, will help satisfy an increasing demand for logistics space in the capital.
