Contract awarded for Hereford school expansion
Speller Metcalfe has been awarded the £4M contract for an array of improvements at Brookfield School in Hereford.
The company has been appointed by Herefordshire Council and the work includes a new sports hall, teaching block and internal alterations to the existing building.
Speller Metcalfe Divisional Director Mark Eaton, said: “We’re delighted to have been selected as the approved contractor on this scheme. We have a history of delivering outstanding education facilities and we are confident in our ability to improve the quality of learning provision at Brookfield School.”
The project has been funded by the Department for Education and Herefordshire Council.
Councillor Harry Bramer, Herefordshire Council Cabinet Member for Community Services and Assets, said: “We’re pleased to be working in partnership with Brookfield School and Speller Metcalfe to provide buildings that meet modern standards and will enhance the education experience of its pupils for generations to come.”
