William Hare has reported a year of substantial growth, with turnover reaching £422.5 million to December 2024, up from £315.5 million in the previous period. Pre-tax profits grew from £5.8 million in 2023 to £31.4 million in 2024.

Winvic Construction has been appointed by Logistics Capital Partners to deliver a new depot for Carlsberg Britvic, at the West Midlands Interchange, a £2 billion national logistics hub near Wolverhampton.

Wrexham Council and Transport for Wales have submitted plans for a mixed-use regeneration scheme next to the city’s main railway station. The Wrexham Gateway project would involve converting disused former industrial buildings into a museum and taproom, and a five-storey commercial office block.

The City of London Corporation’s Planning Applications Sub-Committee has approved plans for a 31-storey office tower at 130 Fenchurch Street. The building will provide 57,491m2 of Grade-A office space, alongside a new public space, hosting food, drink and retail outlets.

Leading logistics company Pall-Ex and commercial property developer and investor Barberry have been given the go-ahead for the construction of a state-of-the-art freight distribution hub in Leicestershire. Aiming to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, the £80 million facility will serve as a flagship logistics hub and will house Pall-Ex’s UK and European headquarters.

McAleer & Rushe has been appointed as the main contractor by the Wellcome Trust to deliver a £52 million office redevelopment at 80 Pelham Street in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea in London. The project will transform a previously underutilised site into a sustainable, high-quality five-storey office building, totalling approximately 34,747m2.
