New units planned for Leicestershire business park

Posted on by in Weekly News

With planning consent granted by North West Leicestershire District Council, Clowes Developments has announced that construction will begin on five warehouse/industrial units at its Stud Brook Business Park.

Known as Plot 1, the new units will range in size from 299m2 to 427m2 and will wrap around an existing and fully operational Starbucks drive-thru.

Clowes Developments said the units will cater primarily to trade counter operators and and will announce the occupiers in due course.

Jack Mellors of IMA Architects commented: “We are delighted that our planning application for the development of five new units at Stud Brook Business Park has been granted.

“Adding further amenities to the business park will enhance the offering for occupiers and locals alike. We have sensitively designed the units to blend in with the existing industrial buildings while meeting modern commercial needs.

James Richards, Development Director at Clowes Developments added: “We’re thrilled to be moving forward with the next phase. The park has proven to be incredibly popular, and demand from trade operators has been strong since inception.”

Roe Developments has been confirmed as the project’s main contractor and the scheme is due to complete by the end of the year.
