Joint venture set to build £1bn of logistic schemes

Developer Henry Boot Development (HBD) has formed a joint venture (JV) with Feldberg Capital that aims to build £1bn of high-quality logistics schemes across the UK over the next seven years.

To be known as Origin, the JV has three initial schemes in its pipeline that will deliver around 41,806m² of prime industrial and logistics space, targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A ratings.

The schemes include the first phase of SPARK in Walsall, a 13-acre development site just off the M6 motorway, a new project in Markham Vale near Chesterfield, and a three-acre site in Welwyn Garden City.
