Harrogate College set for major rebuild
Caddick Construction has been appointed to construct a new green technology centre as part of its £22 million rebuild package for Harrogate College’s main campus.
The new Harrogate College campus will also include a 3,997m2 multi-storey teaching block and a 988m2 single-storey workshop.
Located at Hornbeam Park, the new development has received £20 million funding from the Department for Education and is expected to reach completion in time for the 2026/27 academic year.
Steve Ford, Regional Managing Director, Caddick Construction North East & Yorkshire, commented: “Our appointment to Harrogate College is a mark of our experience in delivering high-quality education projects.”
Colin Booth, Chief Executive of Luminate Education Group, said: “I’m delighted that we will be working closely with Caddick again on the rebuild of Harrogate College. It is long overdue an upgrade, and this rebuild will provide purpose-built facilities that will enhance the vocational education available to young people across the area.”
