Contractor named for Rugby industrial and logistics facility

Posted on by in Weekly News

Franco-British real estate developer BARJANE has appointed Glencar as main contractor for its Rugby 106 warehouse scheme.

Located on Rugby’s Central Park, the development occupies a five-acre site, which was previously occupied by an office and workshop facility.

The new 26,500m2 warehouse, which is aiming for a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating, will include two floors of office accommodation, a mezzanine level, a 14m clear internal height and a first-floor terrace. Externally, the scheme includes car parking, service yards and extensive landscaping.

Glencar Managing Director Peter Goodman, commented: “We’re excited to be delivering this landmark, high-specification development in partnership with BARJANE.

“As a business, renowned for its sustainable and forward-thinking logistics projects, BARJANE sets high standards – and we’re proud to have been selected to help realise their vision for this strategically important site.”

Offering good connectivity, the project is close to Junction M1 of the M6 motorway and 3.5 miles from the M1.

The scheme is expected to be completed in early 2026.
