An online section database containing more than 500 section sizes will be developed so that users can select a particular section from the Montanstahl range for use in the design software.<\/p>\n<p>The software\u2019s calculation engine comprises four modules: gross section properties calculator; section classification and effective section properties calculator; member capacities calculator, and fire resistance calculator.<\/p>\n<p>Once complete, the software will be subject to SCI\u2019s rigorous QA procedures prior to launching on the internet.
