{"id":45906,"date":"2026-07-08T11:26:33","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T11:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsteelconstruction.com\/wp\/?p=45906"},"modified":"2026-07-08T11:27:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T11:27:29","slug":"funding-in-place-for-filton-industrial-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsteelconstruction.com\/wp\/funding-in-place-for-filton-industrial-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding in place for Filton industrial park"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsteelconstruction.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Filton260709e.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsteelconstruction.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Filton260709e.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45907\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.newsteelconstruction.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Filton260709e.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.newsteelconstruction.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Filton260709e-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tungsten Properties has secured \u00a319 million of funding to deliver Tungsten Park Filton, a new 8,751m<sup>2<\/sup> Grade A industrial development in Bristol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scheme will comprise five units ranging from 947m<sup>2<\/sup> to 2,787m<sup>2<\/sup>, to help address the shortage of <a href=\"https:\/\/steelconstruction.info\/Single_storey_industrial_buildings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mid-box industrial accommodation<\/a> within the Bristol market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development, being delivered by main contractor Magrock Construction, will provide high-quality warehouse accommodation with first-floor <a href=\"https:\/\/steelconstruction.info\/Single_storey_industrial_buildings#Office_areas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offices<\/a>, generous yard depths and strong power provision, and benefit from a prominent position fronting the A38, close to Junction 16 of the M5 and Junction 20 of the M4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scheme will target <a href=\"https:\/\/steelconstruction.info\/Single_storey_industrial_buildings#BREEAM_for_industrial_buildings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BREEAM<\/a> \u2018Excellent\u2019 and <a href=\"https:\/\/steelconstruction.info\/Sustainable_construction_legislation,_regulation_and_drivers#Energy_Performance_Certificates_.28EPCs.29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EPC<\/a> A ratings and will incorporate numerous features including rooftop photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, sustainable drainage features and extensive landscaping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ian Dunckley, Development Director at Tungsten Properties, said: &#8220;Securing funding represents a significant milestone and demonstrates continued confidence in both the Bristol market and the wider mid-box sector.
