The new stands will be officially opened for the floodlit England vs Australia One Day International on 22 June.<\/p>\n<p>Constructed either side of the existing main pavilion, the stands will include catering facilities, a new club retail store, executive boxes and corporate lounges, as well as seating for debenture holders.<\/p>\n<p>Main contractor for the project is Northern Ireland based McAteer &amp; Rushe, and the steelwork programme was carried out by Rowecord Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Further plans are afoot at the venue, with work recently beginning on a 175-bed hotel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Steelwork has been completed on two new stands at Hampshire County Cricket Club\u2019s Rose Bowl stadium near Southampton.
