That impacts speed of work and the mill&#8217;s capacity, which was the main reason for the investment here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The machine was installed by Tata Steel\u2019s own operatives, who spent time studying the company\u2019s sister facility at Corby, where there are multiple slitting lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere has been some really good sharing and learning: we&#8217;ve been there, they have visited here, and we&#8217;ve seen real improvements,\u201d added Mr Ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCustomers are driving us to demonstrate that we are reducing our CO<sub>2<\/sub> impact.
