The City of London Corporation Planning Applications Sub-Committee has approved a new office<\/a> scheme at 1 Little New Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be developed by Landsec, and designed by lead architect Apt, the 20-storey scheme will deliver over 57,000m2<\/sup> of Grade A office space to accommodate around 3,000 employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hill House proposals are said to contribute to the continued resurgence of the Fleet Street area, providing a unique design with cascading stepped green landscaped terraces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the much-needed new office space, the development will incorporate the existing Shoe Lane library, alongside flexible and affordable workplaces. In addition, there will be a top floor amenity space and a rooftop suitable for community events, offering outstanding views of the City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coupled with the building\u2019s green terraces, are plans to plant 28 new trees along adjacent streets and a larger public realm space, altogether delivering a 500% biodiversity net gain for the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
