Caddick Construction has been appointed to build Yara International\u2019s new manufacturing<\/a> plant in East Yorkshire, which will on completion be the UK\u2019s largest fertiliser factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located in Howden, the flagship development will include the construction of a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, warehouses, distribution facilities<\/a> and offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new 27,468m2<\/sup> development, which is aiming for a BREEAM<\/a> \u2018Very Good\u2019 rating, will enable Yara to double production of its YaraVita speciality crop nutrition products and biostimulants, which are vital for future food security and mitigating climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caddick\u2019s construction<\/a> of the new plant is expected to reach completion next summer, followed by a period of fit-out works, with the new facility expected to be operational by the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
