We have fully 3D <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Modelling_and_analysis#Modelling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">modelled<\/a> the scheme, which has enabled us to present how the buildings could be carefully brought back to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glancy Nicholls Architects Director Adam McPartland, added: \u201cThe Friar Gate Goods Yard redevelopment plans illustrate the millions of pounds that need to be invested into saving these distressed 150-year old listed buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have brought our expertise in restoration and retrofit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">design<\/a> to sustainably restore two of Derby city centre\u2019s most notable historic structures, providing a vibrant new chapter to their story.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wavensmere Homes, working with Clowes Developments, have submitted plans for the redevelopment of Derby\u2019s historic Friar Gate Goods Yard, to create 276 homes and over 10,000m2 of modern office space.
