The team has already conducted ecological investigations, translocated wildlife and diverted public rights of way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAM said the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Education_buildings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">school<\/a> benefits from its integrated capabilities with BAM Design and BAM Services Engineering working on the three-storey building, delivering the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Education_buildings#Services_and_service_integration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mechanical and electrical<\/a>\u00a0elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAM Construction Manager Dan Brenchley said: \u201cBy bringing more of the work in-house we increase co-ordination and reduce risks, which helps us deliver the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Education_buildings#Programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">programme<\/a> for the school and it enhances our ability to use digital techniques and find <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Modular_construction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">modular solutions<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Dartford has a shortage of secondary places. At present, the school is operating from temporary premises. Once complete, it will become home to around 1,200 students and an additional 250 or so sixth form students. A separate sports block and external pitches are part of the new facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BAM\u2019s work also includes the creation of an access road, which will enable the development of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Residential_and_mixed-use_buildings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">housing<\/a> estate nearby.
