The deal between The English Cities Fund and BT represents the largest single office deal in the region in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Designed by Make Architects, the architectural practice behind the iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/New_Bailey,_Salford#Three_New_Bailey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Three New Bailey<\/a>, Four New Bailey will boast its own unique design with an exposed lattice steel frame, unlike any other development in the city.<\/p>\n<p>Phil Mayall, Regional Director at The English Cities Fund, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a great moment to reach the latest milestone in the development of Four New Bailey, which will break the mould in terms of its striking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">design<\/a> and sustainability credentials, while meeting BT\u2019s needs for their new regional hub. It\u2019s a highly-competitive market in Greater Manchester, so we\u2019re making sure we\u2019re doing everything we can to create workspaces that promote wellness, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Sustainability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sustainability<\/a> and agile working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jack Sargent, Project Architect at Make Architects, said: \u201cThis is a key building in The English Cities Fund\u2019s masterplan. Their overall vision is for a site with connections, both logistically and to nature and with amenities and facilities that create a place where people want to work. The building itself embodies this with retail and leisure, with great views out and with high quality <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Multi-storey_office_buildings#Flexibility_and_adaptability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flexible<\/a> and large floorplates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One New Bailey, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/New_Bailey,_Salford#Two_New_Bailey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Two New Bailey<\/a> and Three New Bailey are all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Braced_frames\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">steel-framed<\/a> buildings <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Construction#Steel_erection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">erected<\/a> by Billington Structures, Severfield and EvadX respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Work on this latest building is expected to start on site later this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The English Cities Fund\u2019s latest office development at New Bailey \u2013 a 16,200m\u00b2 Grade A, BREEAM \u2018Excellent\u2019 office building for telecommunications giant BT &#8211; has received unanimous approval from Salford City Council\u2019s planning department.
