It will provide 63,181m\u00b2 of office floor space and 2,182m\u00b2 of shopping space. The current programme would see Gateway East completed and occupied in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The second tallest block is known as Gateway Central and will be a major new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelconstruction.info\/Multi-storey_office_buildings\" target=\"_blank\">office building<\/a> providing 35,226m\u00b2 of office and retail floor space.<\/p>\n<p>The building will be of varied height, rising from four to 12 storeys with shops, caf\u00e9s and restaurants at ground level.<\/p>\n<p>The third building is Gateway West, the smallest of the three proposed new buildings, and this will be a low-rise structure of four storeys providing 3,064m\u00b2 of office floor space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Architect Allies and Morrison has submitted plans for three new office blocks on the BBC Media Village site in west London.
