The country needs infrastructure that is tried and tested and capable of delivering a robust solution during a period of dramatic change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Atlas Bridging System will provide the capacity to support the important development work within Qatar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Mabey Bridge contract is with Qatar Building Company and the steel bridges will be used on the construction of highway 55, creating a direct link between the Mesaieed, Industrial City and the planned city of Lusail.<\/p>\n<p>Work on the highway started in November 2013 and will be completed by the end of 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mabey Bridge has secured a \u00a32.6M contract to supply steel bridges to Qatar as part of the country\u2019s Local Roads &amp; Drainage Programme.
