Software provider launches customer video series

To help its software customers stay up-to-date on the latest products, SDS/2 has launched a new video series on its YouTube channel.

The company said the Customers’ Classroom: Lessons from Our Users will showcase videos put together by users, for users.

They will teach users how to make the most out of SDS/2, highlighting new ways to use existing features and introducing viewers to new functionality they might not yet know or be familiar with.

The series’ first video is entitled SDS/2 Components 101, and covers what components are and how they can make detailing tasks easier every day. The video can be viewed below.

Since the company was founded in 1981, SDS/2 said it has been a leader in steel industry software development.

The company has worked closely with the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), working on the development of integration of models and model data.

SDS/2 claimed it introduced the first products to interface with automated shop equipment, design connections inside the 3D model, and interface with plant design systems.
