Online shop launched by Kloeckner Metals

Kloeckner Metals UK, one of the largest mill independent multi-metal stockholder and distributors in the UK has launched a new online shop.

The company said that the launch heralds the start of a new era, as Kloeckner is implementing a wide range of digital solutions.

The new online shop follows the launch of the order overview tool and contract platform, two digital solutions Kloeckner Metals UK introduced at the beginning of this year.

Kloeckner’s online shop is a new purchasing channel that is said to have been developed with customers in mind by giving them more flexibility and improved transparency throughout their purchasing process.

It offers a wide range of products from steel sections, sheets and tubes to stainless steel and aluminum.

Kloeckner Metals UK Digitalisation Manager Graham Hudson said: “During August we launched our new online shop with a selected number of customers around the UK, this was primarily to test the functionality of the systems, prior to a full rollout of the shop in September.

“The feedback from customers and employees alike has been very positive.”
