Latest issue of New Steel Construction showcases steel awards
The October issue of New Steel Construction (NSC), which this month highlights the Structural Steel Design Awards (SSDA) is now available in both digital, and print formats that will be arriving in the post this week.

The recently held 48th SSDA take centre stage in the current issue of NSC with project reports on all of the winning schemes, as well as news coverage from the event at the Museum of London.
Five projects won Awards: London Olympic Roof Conversion; Harlech Castle Footbridge; Thames Tower Redevelopment, Reading; South Stand Expansion, Etihad Stadium; and The Memorial Spire, International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln.
Commendations included: 6 Bevis Marks Roof Garden, London; Lagan Weir Pedestrian and Cycle Bridge, Belfast; The Diamond Engineering Building, The University of Sheffield and Land Rover BAR America’s CUP HQ Building, Portsmouth.
Two Merits were also awarded to Leeds Station Southern Entrance and Energy from Waste Facility, Ardley.
NSC also features, as usual, a technical article and advisory desk from the Steel Construction Institute, industry news, and codes and standards updates.
